Toronto City council approved a motion to "calls on Edmonton to take immediate action to move their 37-year-old Asian elephant Lucy to a warmer climate as soon as possible."

What size balls does it take for the council of one city to tell another what to do?

Well, 15 independent vets have said, if we ship her out, she will die in transport. So, will you STFU now?

We shipped Samantha south 5 years ago, because it was right. If we could ship Lucy too, we would.

Edmonton big ego ? Hmmm don't know about that one. It is telling however that Toronto City Council puts forwards a motion about their concerns regarding the health of Lucy the elephant in Edmonton. Seems a little misplaced to me considering the current homeless problem in Toronto.

Well, I s'pose to be fair, it's more the Alberta big ego against the Toronto big ego since the ire won't stop at Edmonton.
