Hi all,

In my politics class we have been assigned an essay with the topic: "how should the relationship between court power and government power be organized in Canada". Unfortunately, I'm a bit uncertain about what this means exactly. Isn't it already organized into branches? Or is this implying something completely different? Any help you can give would be great, and thank you in advance!

Cheers!

Make it sort, sweet and simple and use your essay to ask him if this was ever an essay topic 10 years ago, or did it suddenly become a topic when the Conservatives gained power?

You're right - activist judiciary is a conservative cliche.
