Another religous whack job? Why not just whack job? Or maybe I'll start referring to some people as atheist whack jobs. Religion has nothing to do with these idiots, hatred does. I suppose you think all Muslims are terrorists and all Christians are fundamentalists?

Why do most people who profess to be liberal and accepting, and wish for us to respect peoples differences, usually scream the loudest against anything remotely Christian? Just a thought after seeing some posts on this site from people who are obviously not interested in showing respect to anything Christian but have no problem bending over backwards for every socialist cause to pop up!

They are called that becuase they are interpreting their religous books literally. Xtian fundies say the bible is the literal word of god as do muslim fundies. Religion has everything to do with these people. It is just that their interpretation is not representative of all people within their faith.

Hmm I have yet to see people giving respect to NON-Christians. Seems to me you have no problem attacking views which don't coincide with yours, sorry if Christians want respect, respect in turn is of course welcomed. Remember Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I will give respect to anyone who has EARNED it! To those who choose to call down my beliefs will get the same in return. I don't go around preaching that all atheists will go to hell or all liberals should die, but there are some on this site who can't even find the decency to properly spell out Christianity, such is their dislike ( hatred?) but have no problems with any other faith.
As for respect for non-Christians, same thing, those that don't try to jam their beliefs down my neck I will respect. For the others who try to force their agenda, not a chance.
I feel the same way about political issues. Don't tell me how great one party is and that I should think this way or that. It's just on observation that I have made in the past from vast exposure to it that left-wing types who proclaim to hold the higher moral ground, are usually the ones yelling the loudest to "muzzle the beast" because they are trying to say something they don't agree with.
DerbyX I have a hard time showing respect for his posts because he shows no respect towards anyone who is Christian. I even understand his attitude towards fundamentalists, but to constantly refer to Christians as Xtians is an insult and disrespectful!
I have made statements in reference to terrorists and my hatred towards them, but have also taken great pains to clarify that by no means do I mean all Muslims are terrorists. DerbyX with his actions lumps all Christians, fundamentalists and moderates together.
