stephane dion has no idea what he wants to do , he actually expects that were suppose to believe him , like when has a liberal actually done what they had originally said they'd do .

Still, what's the point of the commercial? It's not even close to an election yet. It's stupid.

And isn't the rule of thumb that whoever puts out the first attack ad is the one who's losing?

The ironic thing is the GST was a conservative brainchild, and the Liberals have already ran a platform where they promised to reduce the GST. The Liberals are lying bastards, and now they are hypocrits, too.

The libs ran on the platform of removing the GST, remember comrade Chretien's famous line.............."read my lips, no more GST". Good to see how that one worked out.

Who was it that promised not to Tax Income Trusts? Can't quite think of their name, but it was fairly recent.

WTF is all the bitching about, our tax rate is cheap compared to many countries.

The UK pays a Value Added Tax (VAT) of 17.5%

Not taxing income trusts was going to create 2 types of corporations in Canada.....ones that pay taxes, and others that don't pay taxes.

I agree, it was something that needed Taxed. However, it was promised that they wouldn't be Taxed, then that Promise was broken. Those who broke the Promise even used the Promise against their opposition in the last Election. Since you seem to be big on Broken Promises, how can you continue to Support the Promise Breakers?

Perhaps the Promise breakers of the past, whom you are willing to condemn for doing the same as the recent Promise Breakers, did so for the very same reasons?
