If you don't want the US to play 'world police' then you had better plan on who is going to do it instead of us othewise you're inviting all sorts of havoc in the world.
Don't listen. Tell the world to solve its own problems. Why do you think they aren't getting any better? Let the middle east sort itself out. You want to help for natural disaters then fine. Don't send troops into places you aren't welcome. If, as we keep hearing , the US doesn't really care about world opinion what do you care what they think of you if you don't send troops to some hotspot? Why don't you try it for awhile?
