So the media in Canada has labelled this "Fox News North" since the beginning despite the fact there is no connection, and they haven't even broadcast a single minute, and Sun is the one using dirty tricks? Right.
Um, labelling somebody isn't a dirty trick. Deceptively ruining an online petition to stop you is a perfect example of a dirty trick.
If you need more help with this, just flail about and I'll find you.
On line petitions are never to be trusted they are always open to abuse, but there is no proof that Kory T. did it, he may have known who did it but that doesn't make him guilty.
The petition itself is dirty trickery, it was inflammatory and incorrect (they don't even know the difference between Suncor and Quebecor) Avaaz may bill themselves as an international org. but they are basically a liberal U.S. based outfit attempting to interfere in Canadian affairs telling us what we should be able to watch. Sure they say it's about cable fees, but I don't see anyone objecting to CBC raking in millions. That's will all be over in the near future so why not give a news channel the same level playing field for a while.
They are registered in Canada as a third party which means all their funding has to be Canadian. I'd like to see some accountability for that one and how many names on that thing actually are genuine, and are Canadian.
