Canadians are very interested in the US. They might at times be anti-american because they feel dominated by them, but that doesn't mean they're not interested and don't identify with the US at the same time. Take a look at how many times somebody on this forum will say "we" should nuke somebody, when Canada actually has no nukes.

That Ignatieff stuff was just for Joe the Plumber consumpution. It was really just saying he's way smarter than you, so don't trust him and don't vote for him.

Bof Canadian/American are almost the same culturally, you watch the same TV show, enjoy the same Music, The same Movies etc....... so this is really a continuation on the same theme.

Reading though some of the comments there, and there are some doozeys warning about American Radicalism. One is saying all Canadians must "stand on guard for thee" (he actually quoted the anthem) to keep Americans from invading and stealing all of Canada's water.

Also, Obama is giving out too many exemptions for Obamacare to have any resemblance to Canadian healthcare.

I do, but I've never worried about the USA falling victim to Secret Canadians or criticized a policy idea as too Canadian-style.
