Sounds like a Liberal fascist scheme to secure and protect the market for a special interest corporation.

Yeah, called the government...

I am for decriminalization of certain drugs, treat them like alcohol and tobacco tax the shit out of them. The reading have done points to a drop in robbery, and other violent crimes.

It would likely put a huge dent into the organized criminal gang activity as well. My only concern is, what kinds of drugs, what quantity etc etc. There would be allot of logistics to work out. But in general I support the idea.

Exactly. That's a far cry from a catch all illegality of it. Again, just as legal firearm supporters don't all support private ownership of 50 cal sniper rifles and miniguns so to do drug owners realize that they may have to give a little also.

Exactly! That is why we should all love our caffeine and forget about the marijuana.

I say to each their own. People need to mainline coffee to kick start their morning? go for it? People want to drink to enjoy an evening out? Awesome. Somebody wants to put their feet up and smoke a doobie? No problem.

I tend to think of a doobie smoker as someone that is slumped forward with droopy shoulders, expressionless face, poor posture, eyes down, jaw slack.......a real slacker with the physiology to prove it.

but thats just my opinion.

Thats a stereotype. I know a lot of my fellow students smoked pot all the time at university although few do it now seeing as they are working family people now.

They all managed to graduate and obtain good careers despite indulging in pot and even harder drugs.

Like this guy? He's the perfect poster child for them.
He's the stoner who wasted B.C. Civil Liberties's time and money looking for a video that he never took. At least Ross Rebagliati could ski. This guy can't do anything right.

Can I post the man who used his legally owned firearm to kill his wife and 3 young children as a gun owner poster child again?

Thats not the point. The point is that its moronic to post a single picture to try and cast aspersions at an entire group.

I'm not using that example to attack all gun owners. I'm using that example to point out that you can't use a single example like that as an argument.

It's funny what you pick and don't pick as being moronic.
