I was only joking, but since you asked about JTF...

JTF-2? Reportedly to be 750 members strong and made up of 3 subgroups. One being field ops. Second being Anti-terror Rescue, and the third is a support company made up of support trades and wounded JTF combat members.

It is rumoured that JTF has grown, but because of the information cap, no one will ever know. Since the original JTF was made up of the disbanded Airborne Reg...or at least the members that were loyal and disiplined, the JTF of today is regarded as highly trained and motivated. They don't fall under any regular command of DND, but directly from the CDS and the Defence Minister. A rather large chunk of money flows directly into JTF from the defence Budget, but is guarded to ensure nothing gets taken away. One of the usual headaches with the Annual defence Budget is that DND can't cut into JTF funds, but JTF can take from the common DND fund without asking for it because they are fully operational.

Current and future compliment of JTF: Its rumoured that the size of the JTF is to triple in the next few years to offset the constant churn of operations they are involved in in the Middle East. Soldier burn out is a huge problem with all militaries. Even the tough guys at the JTF need time away from killing folks.

Like I said, read the Anti-terror Bill to see how the law impacts JTF. THe ROE are just as complex in Canada as they are in a theatre of war. JTF members can't go around killing suspected terrorists. They must be actively trying to do damage for any member of JTF to wack them.

But to answer your question...I have little knowledge of JTF like all regular citizens.

Its JTF 2 why? just is *l* JTF2 The videos are worth watching except the Introduction one

I never even heard of the JTF-2 until the Afghanistan war came up, they should promote themselves more.

I dont see what the big deal about the Magna Carta was. John was forced into signing it, and shortly after signing it he renounced it.

Thus came the Barons war or Civil war which took place after he renounced it. Pope Innocent III also did. John died in the civil war and Henry III reissued it. King John was a failure in the eyes of England so he wasn't a very popular King. The big deal about the Magna Carta is that it limited absolute monarchy in England whereas in France the Ancien Regime continued to hold absolute power. Magna Carta became English law with some revisions along the way and when you look at it, England was more or less peaceful in the Middle Ages where in Europe, revolutions broke out and Feudalism was still prevalent. Im sure Mustang will be able to explain in more detail but just look it up, can't miss it.

You are too kind – his kind of dismissive and haughty tone doesn’t deserve your explanation. I would’ve simple said, “read more.” PDT_Armataz_01_06

Why would that be better? If they make themselves more visible, then they can compete with the Navy seals or SAS or whatever. But I suppose hiding in the shadows could be good as well.

the trouble with this kind of force is there contintuous need to justyify their existence. not that there isn't some justification out there, and it may continue. About a dozen years ago the mulroney gov't decided that the Canadian defense spending would focus on civil disturbance.

our police got riot control training, pepper spray, tasers, and darned if it isn't just too much fun using those puppies.

They already do, There modeled after SAS. And work with other countrys counter parts. I'm to tired to explain it all but it wouldnt be good to be like US and show you how they train if thats what you meant, and who they are.

JTF 2 info

Read that it should help you out
