The news will remind campaign watchers of the

http://www.ottawacitizen.com/technology ... z1IrPgCjJACan we agree that all parties have a closet full of skeletons and that those accused of crimes aren't immediately guilty?
Apples and oranges.
The fact is Harper is unwilling to let veteran's advocates or people who have posed with Iggy attend his rallies - yet he has no problem with someone who while charged with fraud, broke the conditions of his bail several times (making him guilty of that at least) sit on stage with him and his family.
As I said in the other thread, which is worse?
If the Liberals were screening people at their rallies and letting people like Dhillion sit next to Iggy, I wouldn't agree with it.
But, given your lack of criticism, I'm guessing you don't have a problem with that. Fine by me, but it speaks volumes about your party's values when little old ladies and vets are more dangerous to the Conservative party than someone charged with fraud. Then again, given Haroper's past assocaitions with Bruce Carson, maybe it's not big deal...
Besides, pointing to a Liberal candidate's guilt in one riding does not absolve your candidate's actions in another riding.
In the last election I voted independent because I didn't care for Dion's platform and Harper's "we won't have a recession" BS was too far fetched for me to buy into. This time around, I live in a different riding and I will be voting ABC - I just have to decide who it is.
If you don't think the Liberal party doesn't screen those people who attend rallies, I got some swamp land to sell you my friend!
I'm guessing that you haven't spent much time, or any time, within the inner workings of a campaign and the events that go along with it.
Many years ago, as a 13 year old volunteer, this practise was taking place at the City level, not just on a Federal and Provincial level.
I do not claim that showing one candidates bag action absolves another, I'm simply stating that all parties have bad apples in their party and at their events and that all parties do their share of screening people who attend their events.
