I'm an American who wants to travel to Cuba. The Prez has made it slightly less difficult for US citizens to visit but there are still roadblocks.

That being said I'm here to ask you Canadians who have traveled to Cuba for vacation what it's like. Below are a few questions I have:

    1. It's a hard-line Communist government, how concerned should you be about getting in trouble? Granted I'm not a drunk college kid on spring break but I don't want to be arrested for jaywalking.

    2. How are the quality of the shops and restaurants?

    3. How are hotel conditions?

I realize these seem like asinine questions but very few people where I'm from get to go and there are a lot of misconceptions about Cuba.

Thank you for the help!
