You got to remember that 'to be understood, one must speak in a language that will be understood clearly'! Many of the people whom this document is directed at are coming from countries where such 'barbaric atrocities' are quite acceptable. Past/present statistics regarding immigrants to Canada prove that 'the kinder, gentler' approach just simply was not getting through to some people. ' The 'barbaric atrocities' are still being practised by some here in Canada today! 'No, no, my Dear, you musn't do that',
just ain't getting thru to some of these poor misunderstood folks'!
