Oh common now ASL admit it.. Trudeau was awesome, the best! Made us who we are.

I would say we became what we are in spite of Trudeau and his social engineering experiment.

In fact, given a choice between watching a movie on Trudeau and sticking hot pokers in my eyes I would gladly submit to the hot pokers!

Wow! give your address, I will be over with the movie, some popcorn and some hot pokers.. would love to watch that :)

You'd never get that movie in my house. If the dog didn't stop you, I would! PDT_Armataz_01_36

My parents were Trudeau fans but everyone was a hippie back then.

Mom is a Harper fan now.

The British press often portrayed Trudea as an effeminate nonentity.

your almost all off-topic, this was a topic about the Trudeau CBC movie! :P

I still hanv't watched Trudeau II yet.

But i liked the content in Trudeau about the FLQ crisis, I was recommended a documentary about it. I found it on DVD at the Vancouver Library, going to watch it tonight probably.

"Action: The October Crisis of 1970".

As for the first Trudeau movie, I enjoyed it. You can tell it was originaly made as a short 3-4 part tv series, there is distinct sections. The parts about the October crisis & Consititional conference were the best.

Parts othe movie are kinda campy, low budgety. Most the editing, which is a reflection of being made in the early 90's I guess. But the acting i think was great.

Now I think I might delete all your other flame posts! :P I'm tied of many of you posters instant partisan crap. Its a movie about Canadian History, like it or not Trudeau is a big part of our history. I would watch a simular movie about any other PM.

Good times Oct. 1970. Lived in Burnaby, go pickup the gf in New West, roomie's pick his up on Coquitlam, then we'd go downtown, maybe the Ritz or a show. Drive the girls home and when we got back to the house compare the number of "suspicious person reports' you collected along the way. Loser owed a beer. Stopped 7 times one Friday night.
Or on a slow night, fill a rubber with acetylene and set it off in an alley by Davie & Howe. Way more fun live than watching cop shows on tv.
