Since the 1970's and 1980's most of the ethnic community has supported the Liberals. You can just look at the city of Toronto.

However, at the same time the Conservatives might be compatible with the ethnic community. Just think about it. Most of the ethnic community is pro-life. Most of the ethnic community is against the universal daycare program. In Asian cultures, uncles, aunts and grandparents help to raise children when their parents are busy at work.

Edmonton Conservative MP Rona Ambrose has made this an important issue. So has fellow Edmonton Conservative MP Rahim Jaffer.

I don't see why different ethnicities need special representation and to says all ethnicities think the same way is stupid.

Conservatives are evil- Join the NDP!

I don't see why any ethnic vote would go to the Conservatives. Generally the people who belong to the socially conservative religions they are trying to appeal to are the same ones they'd like to target for racial profiling. Making a decision between letting somebody else marry who they want or being a suspect because of skin colour is not much of a choice

Many new Canadians are pretty religious and conservative, by Canadian standards, and many Liberal freedoms are seen as excessive. I'm seeing a whole lot of rich white guys in the Liberal party.

Out west, we are seeing a number of IndoCanadians and Chinese who joined the Reform, then the Conservatives. I believe this was because they were a little more loose in their candidate approval methods. Sometimes it was a problem when they made boobs of themselves but they were candidates of the people and could freely speak their minds. This gives us something in between Cadman & Grewal.

The CPC represents multiculturalism and Canada. They have MP's from several religions, ages, and races. The Liberals and other parrties consist of old white sexagarians(old people)Harper is young and has a family(wife and Kids) and so do many Tory MP's.
