Me, like you moved across the Atlantic. My choice was to go to an area where I had the highest probability of getting a job in my field. After a few challenges it worked out.

Not being able to move wasn't in my plan.

Mobility. Go where you are needed. Maybe it's a military thing but it has stuck with me.
