No a coalition is not undemocratic.. otherwise there wouldnt be such things.. the fact of the matter is the current autocratic regime does not have a clue as to what to do about the current crises.. thousands are losing their jobs.. the torys didnt have a plan even though they knew it was coming and instead chose to blow the surplus left by better managers of the economy.. there are many reasons why they should be toppled.. one is their lack of compassion for the average guy and their big business support ..they dont understand the "Great" nation of Quebec and never will. harper is a sleezy slimey autocrat who will forfit the protection of the Canadian people to feather his own nest and desire to be Czar supreme of Canada.. I listened to M.Rae this morning and he was right on with his view of harper and the torys.. they plan to move forward and he warned Canadians that the slime balls will be spending money on stone throwing ads that will attempt to sway voters to them.. lots of luck..the thousands in Ontario who are losing their jobs and in other provinces will see through they typical shit slinging torys.. BRING EM DOWN...TOUTE DE SUITE!
This is perhaps the most cathartic post I've read in some time. Partisan, meandering, drivel. Enough said.

True, on all counts. The hard-core partisans on all sides need to turn it down a bit, because they sound ridiculous.
This isn't undemocratic. A coalition is an acceptable, though relatively rare, phenomenon inherent to the Westminister Parliamentary system.
That said, I think it would be disasterous for the country at this stage of the game. During such an uncertain economic period, the last thing this country needs is a prolonged period of political uncertainty. And a coalition made up of a group of disparate, bickering camps ranging from hard-core NDP leftists to Hard-core Quebec Separatists is almost sure to fail.
Harper deserves all the criticism he's getting for plunging the country into this mess with his deliberate attempt to kick the Liberals in the teeth with his electoral reforms while they were reeling.
But like it or not, the Conservatives are really the only viable option to govern at the moment.
