Remember that cute video of Stephen Harper playing John Lennon's 'Imagine' with YouTube sensation Maria Aragon when he stopped in Winnipeg last week?

Well, looks like it doesn't exist anymore due to a copyright claim by Lenono Music, the music publishing that formed by former Beatle John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono:

That's alright, you guys can do what you did the last time when you didn't like how Canadians voted during the last election. You can all get together kick democracy in the jimmies and boot him out.

Who Maria Aragon? Since she was born here and lived her entire life here so far, I guess.
Or Yoko Ono? Did someone claim she was Canadian?

Why does she have to be Canadian to defend her late husbands copyright, and try to make a buck off it? (But yea, Canadian politics is the wrong forum)

A you tube search will show 7 pages of everyone and their dog singing that song,
the removal is nothing more than Liberal dirty tricks as usual.

She's only defending her late husband's copyright because the conservatives started using the song. She shares Michael Moore's vision of Canada, which is quite disingenuous and not exactly founded on reality.

Unlike the right, which has it's feet on bedrock, I know.

Her song, her right to do with what she wants. A commie anthem like Imagine isn't exactly Reformacon theme song material anyway. Guess Harper doesn't actually listen the words he's singing.

Imagine there's an election,
and no one came to vote.
Because all of the candidates
are a total fucking joke.
