'The bottom line is that nothing will change until our busted system of government is meaningfully fixed."

________________________________________
In order for our busted system of government is meaningfully fixed the realisation that those who maneuver for a new world order, nau, eu, world banking system et al first has to become common knowledge. As it is that ain’t happenin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhwKURm1_sA&feature=related 1 of 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnxKPYX16F0&feature=related 2 of 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiHOP2P_NTA 3 of 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4S_s0Nm9lY&feature=related 4 of 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRuxCofh6xs&feature=related
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enCA255CA255&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=Jordan+Maxwell&spell=1
The above is only the work of one “individual” (our indie ain’t no individual!)
So! To “fix” that mess ain’t going to happen
What is necessary is a revolution in thinking to bring about a new paradigm in thought to overturn what these splendid fellows a=have accomplished over hundreds of years.
What do you believe the chances of that happening are?

"What do you believe the chances of that happening are?"

My current belief is that real significant change won't happen in my life time, but that it may happen starting with the next generation of kids who'll soon take over from the current generation of brain washed (now grown up) kids, and it can happen very rapidly.

My optimism has to do with the Introduction of the Internet, which for the first time in Earth's history has connected up most of the world, and has allowed people to read and view uncensored and uncontrolled media content that flies in the face of what the authorities have traditionally been able to feed us as a monopoly.

Now a lot can happen to break the trend, such as imposing authoritarian controls over the Internet, or making it extremely expensive for the ordinary Joe to broadcast (i.e., effective making it a massive one-way street, like traditional forms of controlled propaganda currently are).

However, if effective controls over the Internet are imposed after so many people have become used to the new found freedom they never before had, then the illusion of freedom will have been instantly broken, and perhaps all hell will finally break lose against those who have traditionally held onto all the power.

We'll see, and I hope I can live just long enough to see how it turns out.

Elect an oposition memeber and you get someone to represent your position to the government.
Elect a government member and you get someone to represent the Prime minister's position to you. Government members are out of a job if they oppose Harpers position in any way . This was also the case with Chretien.
When the gun registry issue came to a vote, all rural NDP members voted to scrap it, while urban members voted for it. The Prince Rupert NDP memeber voted against it every step of the way and is still NDP Member for that riding , after many elections. That would never happen in a governing party.
You get a zombie when you elect a government members. NDP members are given far more freedom to represent their constituents.
Brent
