Now that the ZR1 is the top of the line Vette, you'll prolly see the LS7 in the '09 Camaro. But with fuel prices being what they are, GM may delay or kill the Camaro as they have(had) no plan to offer a v-6 option in the first year.

Ahem did someone not register 6.1 to 4.6 the cubes are not even close and even at that if you took the 5400 bucks difference and put into engine after market your stang would kick the shit out of the challenger without the depreciation.

At the price of aftermarket parts today, it would take more than $5400 for the 4.6 to match the Hemi's 425 horsies. And at the end of the day you'd still be driving a Ford (a debris-spewing money-hole soon to be perma-parked in front of the "home" of someone named Bubbles, Ricky or Julian).

Are you kdding? A new Vette get's 29 to 32 mpg on the highway. Gas mileage is really not a problem with new Vettes....
