@ Always online, doesn't mean anything to me. I'm always connected to the internet, and rarely play single player anyways. The only issue is when servers go down, but if you can't fuck off from a game for at most a day you have a bigger issue at play.
@ Addons and mods will probably show up anyways, but they've been spoiled by WOW. D2 didn't have many mods, and no one bitched. So why now? WOW is also way more complicated than D3 is probably going to be. It's a different type of game. They're comparing apples to oranges. If they didn't have a problem with D2, then why expect D3 to be impossible to play without it? Not to mention, this can change down the road pretty easily. If there is enough backlash, it's easy to let people do it. Not a big deal either.
@ Money to buy items. Two things. 1) Was going to happen anyways, blizzard is just going to manage it. You can do it on d2 pretty easily, and I remember lots of people doing it. 2) If d3 is anything like d2, the items didn't play as big of a role as WOW. It's really not that big of a deal. And then they bitch about Vanity pets? YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THEM. Stop fucking whining.
