http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2 ... firms.html

Quote:
A leading cyber-crime expert says foreign hackers who launched a massive attack on Canadian government computers last fall also broke into the data systems of prominent Bay Street law firms and other companies to get insider information on an attempted $38-billion corporate takeover.

Daniel Tobok, whose international cyber-sleuthing company was called in by a number of the firms hit by the attacks, says the hacking spree from computers in China were all connected to last year's ultimately unsuccessful takeover bid for Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan.

Say it isn't so...the shock...the horror.

well it doesn't bode well for the future. The Chinese tend to be obsequious to those they think are stronger, and bully tose whom they see as weaker. They have been getting more and more aggressive towards the West in the last decade, and it will only get worse. This is reflected in every aspect of Chinese society, from the boardroom, to the workplace, to the schools. One would think that they would develop some empathy as they move up the ladder, having been recipients of abuse from their higher ups, but no, they look at it as,'Now it's my turn to abuse those under me.'
