Telus high speed, Satellite tv and home phone. Home phone alone is $30...

I'm at $160/month for Rogers. I have Internet, TV and Phone...although I rent 2 HD receivers and a HD PVR.

Our cottage is $140 a month for the same services but only 2 receivers.

I don't rent any hardware from Shaw, so that might be one reason for the difference.

One reason why I refuse to go back to Telus - they gouge you on the phone. Well, that and I had terrible experience with their ADSL internet.

My advice is to switch to Shaw, their bundles offer a pretty good selection of choices;

I even stripped out a couple of features on my home phone to save $10 or $15 - which I then used to get more channels.
