I have a mini-SD card (thumbnail-sized) with some photos on it from my old Blackberry (dead now), and was wondering if anyone knows of a company that I could use to retrieve the photos from it.

I've gone to McBain's camera shop and London Drugs, but neither can/will do it. Any other ideas?

Go on eBay, and buy an adapter for $0.99 that you can plug into your USB port.

Something like this should work:

Walmart sells things that you can put them in (adapter?), they have the size of a regular SD card, so you can stick it in there and stick that in your SD slot.

They make adapters that can take it from the mini all the way to a USB stick in one unit. I have one somewhere, in fact it came with the mimi SD card I have in my BB. My mini fits right into my computer as well though so I`ve never needed it.

I can't believe London Drugs didn't send you around the corner to their computer section. They're usually on the ball there.

I stock a 4 gig card that's mini with 2 adapters included in the case. It's like $13.99 or something.
Sure enough, someone bought one, plugged their cam card into the wrong adapter and jammed it into the SD reader slot in one of our cafe computers. Had to open the case, smash the multi-reader open to get it and then install a new one.
And of course they felt "they shouldn't have to pay" because it was the adapter's fault.

Shoulda jammed a square peg up their round arsehole.
