Haven't noticed but I can see it being an issue with any smartphone as there is so much that draws power now. Icloud sync crashing in a loop can burn the battery but just restoring fresh clears that up also, location services is something that will burn your battery as well if you forget and leave it on all the time. FYI airplay with the icatcher app is amazing.
