I saw an HP netbook at Costco with 2 yr warranty for $199. I thought how could I go wrong......
it was a fucking HP. I already had 2 Aspire Ones and 2 EEEs that were fine. Flimsy dim, finicky POS.
So I ripped it to shit, put in a 60 GB SSD and 2 Gigs, whacked it back to XP (what a fucking chore that was... making an XP with the weirded out finally found in Russia SATA driver) and Linux Mint dual boot.
Now I have the fastest POS Netbook you've ever seen.

An NO, you're laptop ain't all that bad. Like someone said, at least it isn't one of those laptops with Netbook guts. It was fucking free, be thankful you little shit.
