I have 'checked the appropriate box' several, several times, yet, everytime that I try to open up CKA, either thru email link or any other, I have to log in again. My password is remembered, but I have to type my username and then I can log in. What's up with this?

It's an ongoing problem, I think. I've had it for a a few weeks at least... if I leave the site for a while, I lose the connection.

Well, 'misery loves company'. Let's hope someone can get their $hit together and fix this!

I've had this problem forever. Trevor used to tell me to clear my cookies. I just gave up after awhile.
Sometimes it works, sometimes I can't log in for days or weeks at a time for lack of a log-in box.

When you can't log in, log out first... sounds funny, but it works.

The only log in box that works, is the one at the bottom of the forum page. The log in button on top has not worked for years.

The problem with it is that it will show you you're logged on even if you're not. In that case, click "logout" and then you can login.

HAHAHAHAHA! Try this. I just stumbled upon a fix! I changed my 'delete history upon exit, and also in settings changed from 'automatic' to 'never'. So far, I have closed and reopened CKA 3 times and remained logged in.

No, I have same problem as Brenda. When I can't post, there is no log in button at the top, or the bottom. Post reply button gives me an error saying I need to log in, and when I click that link, it'll give me another error page saying I am logged in. This is the only time I have access to any sort of log-out button, which takes me back to the "You need to be logged in to perform this action" page. Rinse and repeat. Hasn't happened since the Christmas break, but it is incredibly annoying when it does. And like I said above, sometimes it'll last for days or weeks at a time.

If it happens again, CM, go to to the main page... ...you can login top/left. http://www.canadaka.net/

OK. I have played back and forth, changing the settings. For me anyway, once I 'uncheck' the 'delete history upon exit', it's all good.
***The 'upper button' shows up on my screen and works as it should.

I would log in on the main page, and would subsequently be able to make article comments, but attempting to access the forum would bring me back to the same predicament. This is how I let trevor know before what my issue was before, and where I first got his suggestion to delete cookies. Since then, sometimes cookie deletes work, sometimes they don't.
