As far Stemmer's search for a socket 1155 board, its kind of hard to make a recommendation as "we" don't know the size of the enclosure, nor what expansion cards he needs to plug into the board, nor the number and type of hard drives, nor what the desired price range is... and so on and so forth

It's all important stuff to think about when buying a mainboard.

I presently have a mid tower case that is presently housing a full ATX socket AM3 mobo (that's full ATX and not mini-ATX)... I have 4 SATA II hard drives and an ide DVD burner (but I have a spare SATA burner to place into the computer)...

My powersupply is a Corsair 750W just purchased from NCIX a few months ago... I'll be moving my Nvidia GTS 250 1 gb video card over...

Cheers

If I were you I'd pick up this board.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6813128500

At $139.99 plus shipping it isn't an overly pricey board (on sale), has a decent set of features (4 SATA III ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, supports DDR3 @ 2133), and has garnered favourable reviews.
