Awesome video! But I have to say I think Google is far less evil than other tech companies like Microsoft.

I like google... they tend to provide the most accurate search results.

Chrome is my primary browser.

Its a business of course they want to corner markets and buy up the good stuff to lock people in and make risk of entry hard for new companies. This is called Capitalism. Not clear on the concept? Well Google it :p

I've been using Bing for certain searches lately. I've been noticing there's some stuff Google doesn't seem to want me to find.

The People’s Republic of Google

$1:
The fact that it works so well (makes so much money) comes down to the realization I had that Google isn’t a software company at all. It’s an advertising company.

Is There a Google News Blacklist?

$1:
My theory, then, is that both AOL and I are blacklisted from Google News. That’s hundreds of professional writers… invisible.

AOL is in many ways a Google competitor, I suppose. Certainly it is run by an ex-Googler, who probably left behind bad feelings. But, if true, how fair is this on Google’s part? Not very. I don’t suppose it qualifies as evil, but it is definitely petty and in no way serves Google users, who should be appalled.

Google is a private company and is very good at what it does. So much so that it is now the new Microsoft or IBM and we have all seen what happened to them when their reach exceeded their grasp. Even now Microsoft is about to be passed by Apple and IBM has become a shadow of its former self.
