Sort of new to this site but anyways. going to start this thread on the Ontario pc's and the up coming October Provincial election.
my main question/debate to start focuses on the party being ready for the next election and i'm not talking about candidates/signs. more issues/ motiving the voters. as a pc supporter i'm motivated but i question the level of interest in the upcoming election in my own riding.
there is still no liberal candidate in my riding , and it has a pc mpp already. but locally there doesn't seem to be much interest in provincial politics, lack of letters to editors being writen, lack of interest it seems. maybe things are different elsewhere in the province.
the issues that people do talk about are of seemingly little importance, pit bull ban an example, smoking another . major issues like healh care , the economy and real justice issues seem to be on the backburner and not important at the moment.
wondering what other conservatives think about the upcomign election and what the pc's need do to in order to win and generate more interest in provincial politics.
