My pet peeve is that the ratio "talk and over-analyze sports" in media versus the "playing sports" is about 4 to 1 now.

fans are in town that evening / weekend.

Some fans plan a trip to Vegas at the same time their hockey team is playing in Vegas.



Most expensive tickets for a Vancouver Canuck home game is when Montreal is in town.

The way the Canucks (and I guess other teams) do their ticket pricing is a peeve of mine. Depending who they are playing the tickets can easily be 3x as much for the same damn seat when an "upper ranking" team is in town. It's the main reason we did not go to any games last season. The games that were sort of affordable tended to be on weekdays where my work schedule conflicted.

What the hell happened to the days when the ticket price was set by the area in which you sat and was the same for any game of the regular season?

I was hoping for a big improvement from the Canucks but now Brock Boeser is refusing to sign and the local kid, Jake Virtanen has turned up at camp out of shape again. Damn. I had hopes for him.
