I already leave my house and truck unlocked most of the time and post a No Trespassing sign. The fact that I have 85 lbs of German Shepherd that hates people coming onto her property doesn't get mentioned.

I think the changes in the law currently being put forth in the house should eliminate many of the victims attempted prosecution for defending themselves.
