Shorts, light weight shirt, tennis shoes, and cap are in my car. When I get off our of the uniform into the cool clothes. Off to the concert me and the boss go.

That's something the stabber asylum dude can't say today. So a good day for those that are worried about him getting out.

In England do these knife-wielding criminals kill or wound 36 people in 30 seconds like the Dayton shooter did? Do they kill or wound hundreds from long range like the Las Vegas shooter did? Do they kill or wound dozens of school children at a time like they’ve done in an uncountable number of US school shootings? Englands worst day of knife violence is infinitely better than America’s best day of gun violence.
Yep, because nothing kills and wounds in numbers like a firearm. Oh wait, 86 people killed and 458 others injured in Nice when some asshole drove his truck into a crowd. Or how about the asshole in Toronto that managed to kill 5 times as many people with a van than the Danforth shooter.

How about the Oklahoma bomber? Didn't fire a shot but managed to kill a bunch of people. The Kyoto arsonist managed to kill 35 people in a matter of minutes.
China managed to change the definition of mass stabbing when a group of uniformed men attacked people at a train station in Kunming killing 33 and injuring another 143.
Or how about the arson attack in NYC in 1990. Dude bought $1 worth of gasoline and killed 87 people with it.

And your concern about the death of school kids is laughable considering that on average 11 kids under the age of 16 die every day because some idiot is texting and driving.

So ultimately the question to your ilk is, is it the deaths that truly concern you or is it merely the cause that gets you worked up?

Image
I kill 88,000 people in the United States every single year.
I kill 4,300 underage children every year.
I am responsible for 190,000 visits to the ER by people under 21.
Over 40% of all children in the 10th grade illegally use me.
I am the cause of 1.4 million acts of violence committed between strangers.
I am present in nearly half of all violent crimes up to and including homicide, rape, assault, and child abuse.
Each day I am used by illegal means 300,000 times but only 3,200 people are arrested.
My negative consequences cost the U.S. economy $250 billion a year.
I am alcohol.
Pic unrelated.

Are you kidding me?

There are restrictions on owning and operating cars
Nothing like for owning a firearm.

and buying explosives
Oh fer sure. Go to a nursery, co-op or gardening supply center and buy some fertilizer, then go to a gas station and buy some diesel. Real restrictive.

and the “mass stabbings” in China was a gang of men, not one person.
Which I clearly stated. But I guess it doesn't count because they weren't killed the "right way" for it to matter.

Texting and driving fatalities are not deliberate
The act of texting whilst driving is deliberately engaging in an illegal act that is well known to cause death and injury. It's like taking out your legally owned pistol and twirling around your finger around a group of people with the safety off. You'd want to crucify someone like that.

and unlike guns, alcohol has a purpose and is not made for the purpose of killing human beings
The ONLY real purpose for alcohol was as a replacement for water because back before we knew about sanitation, water made you sick and could kill you. We have safe drinking water now, you don't need alcohol. Bladed weapons were originally designed for killing other humans. So was the bow for that matter. And yet, without ANY kind of permit, I can have a house full of surgically sharp blades in easy reach at any time and it's all perfectly legal. Ironic considering more Canadians have been stabbed to death since 2000 than shot to death.

So once again it appears it's not the deaths that bother you so much as the method being used to kill.

Umm no not even close especially in the US. That is such a ridiculous statement, we can only assume you know absolutely nothing about the subject.

You cannot make a bomb with the type and quantity of fertilizer found in those stores. You need a large amount of a certain type the authorities are alerted when unverified people try to purchase it...that’s exactly what happened when the “Toronto 18” amateur wannabe terrorists tried to buy some.

. Are you serious??? It took dozens or hundreds of knife-wielding attackers several hours to achieve the same casualty rate as one American mass-shooter does in a few minutes. Nobody with any common sense would equate these two. Get a clue.

. It’s not anywhere near the same as mass shooter who decides to deliberately commit mass murder and anyone with half a brain understands that.

ROTFL. OK go to your local LCBO and tell people that. Alcohol has existed for thousands of years because people like to get buzzed or drunk , and that’s perfectly fine we accept alcohol-related casualties as an acceptable ‘price of freedom’’ for having easy access to alcohol. Pro-gun advocates say we should accept mass shootings as an acceptable price of freedom for easy access to guns. Fortunately, most people don’t think deliberate acts of mass murder are tolerable or equivalent to alcohol-relad deaths, which are mostly not intentional.

. Because they’re not as lethal as guns. Ever heard of a mass shooting with bow and arrow? Or a single crazed individual stabbing dozens of people to death from across the street? It’s not ironic that there are fewer gun deaths in Canada because it just shows gun control works.

No it just shows the shocking ignorance and absurd twists of logic you’ve willing to employ for your bankrupt ideology

There is literally no evidence to support that. Fuck when the first knives were made homo sapiens weren't even a thing yet. They also would have made spectacularly shit weapons. A club would have been far more affective. And Paleontologists think the first bows were for hunting, not warfare.
