I'm all for healthy eating, and it can greatly improve one's immune system, but it's no substitute for modern medicine.

If you're an adult and you want to choose your own kooky witchdoctor treatments, fine, knock yourself out with that. But your kids have the right to modern medicine. Same with Jehovah's Witnesses and other religious beliefs surrounding treatments; fine for adults, but a child's right to life supersedes its parents' right to religious freedom.

Access to abortion is vitally important. It's a major factor in keeping the crime rate down for a certain recalcitrant, ahem, "demographic".
