Chief Chu said police were content to arrest gang targets on "as many crimes as we can," noting "as long as it gets them off the street and into a jail cell where innocent members of the public can't be hurt, we'll continue to pursue them this way."
.. but the judges release them on bail and throw a ban on reporting bail condition details.
BC Judges are the problem.
The bail conditions are in the article....
Quote:
n Bail set at $15,000, with no surety and no deposit;
n Bacon is not to have direct or indirect contact with Karbovanec, and Karbovanec is not to have contact with any of the Bacon brothers;
n They are to reside at an address given to the court. If they move, they must notify the Port Moody police chief and provide a new address;
n They are to abide by a 9 p.m.-to-7 a.m. curfew;
n They must not lease or rent a vehicle, or operate a leased or rented vehicle, and
n They are to report to Port Moody police weekly — Karbovanec on Wednesdays and Bacon on Thursdays.
Its complete and utter bullshit these two are out and yes the judges are the problem.
