It started a long time ago. In the most recent incident I can think of, the Muslims on a migrant ship bound for Europe thought they'd endear themselves to the Italian refugee boards early by rounding up the Christians and throwing them overboard.

WTF does that have to do with setting up civil courts? In both cases, the worry is that women will be coerced to go along with these biased courts, and that the best interests of the children won't be taken into account. If these courts were strictly for empowered adults making a free choice, that would not be a problem. That is not the case in either of these communities.
