It's been about 68 years since Archie first appeared in the comics... all I gotta say is that he sure as hell took his sweet time about it.

How could he? She's a snob. I always liked Betty more. It never occured to me that the writers would have any of them marry. Mind you I'm out of touch since i probably haven't read one since 1982 or so. Betty and Reggie next? Then they have kids and it starts a whole new thing?

I had tons of Archie comics and digests when I was a kid. Desparate for money I sold my collection when I was about 14. Had many #1 issues of different series too...

Archie married Veronica for the money. We know he'll be caught in a secret affair with Betty. It's Riverdale 90210.

According to the articles I've read, there is going to be several comics in a story arc with twists in the plot. The second one is supposed to show Veronica and Archie at the alter. The story is supposed to end back in the "real" time with them in high school again. This could end up being one of those stories where the characters were actually dreaming or something.

BTW, Archie would be a total idiot for not choosing Betty!
