Rules for some, and rules for others...

Why is there this lingering feeling this guy will somehow avoid justice and prison as determined by a jury of his peers?

The Canadian security apparatus, Canada's "entitled".

How the fuck can it be "attempted" murder when he shot Yatim dead?

Yep. Craziest ruling in Canadian legal history. The argument is that Forcillo shot him dead, legally. Then, not knowing he was already dead, tried to kill him criminally, which was impossible because he was already dead. Therefore guilty of attempted murder. What a crock of shit.

There's a definite lack of logic in the courts explanation isn't there.

Since Yatim was already dead wouldn't a charge of Disturbing, Desecrating Human Remains have been more appropriate? 8O
