The fumbduck thought it was supposed to be hibernating.....in September To begin with bears don't hibernate, and on warm winter days they will go out of their dens and roam around. If you're going into bear country learn a little about the critters.

That paradigm is generally reserved to those deluded urban liberals who think that wildlands are some sort of harmonious paradise where people can walk around naked picking daisies and they can cuddle up with grizzly bears if only the bear knows they're not a threat.
