How completely awful.

F*cking bully that did this deserves to be punished. I'm sure karma is on it.

I'm not surprised by the lack of action fom the school. Those in authority have never done f*ck all about bullying.

Down here the kids who did that would be in jail on Federal or state child porn charges.

Fuck sakes, shit like this and all the creeps floating around empowered by their 15 megapixel cellphone cameras make me really worried about things in the works right now like contact lenses capable of recording video

Looks so cool and futuristic but you just know evil wins with every advancement

Yup.

Just remember that every technical advancement will be used for violence, porn, or crime long before it's used for literature or medicine. :|

For all the obvious gross shit that will occur with the lenses thing, I don't even understand what the actual value is. What good is possible with it? At best, perhaps a sort of Russian dashcam scenareo, at worst, male gaze gets even more disturbing. :(

Wow. That would never happen here though it should. The way school admin look at bullying in school is "kids are kids", handle it yourself. Stupid social media doesn't help and can cause a ridiculous amount of harm.

Even in the "adult" workplace companies can have policies about bullying but I have seen for myself that management will turn a blind eye to it and I doubt many people bother pursuing it. I know I didn't, what was the point?

Not even "handle it yourself", if that kid touched these bully creeps he'd be the one punished, leagues of evil-enablers coming out the woodwork to preach about violence not solving anything :(

No, the policy is "shut up and suck it up", and I agree, that mentality carries on after school :(

You'd think a cell phone bad in schools should have been a no-brainer and been put into effect years ago. Too bad it seems to take at least a decade for most school bureaucracies to catch up to reality. The kids don't need to be attached to these fucking things twenty four hours a day. It's warping them, and for no good reason too because at least 99.9% of what's done on an average cell phone per day is irrelevant and unimportant nonsense.

They banned them back when you had to flip them to open and pictures came out looking like abstract art.

It seems the sheer omnipresence of phones has crushed those efforts.

I still remember Gameboys brief period of acceptance in schools before the crackdown. Fuck, we weren't even allowed card games.
