I wonder how much auto insurance is going to be for that 17 year old? He'll have to move into the city, his life long vehicle will be a Calgary transit bus.

No excuse on the 17 year olds side, all this is covered in the testing and he can't have been driving for long. Why anyone would do 90 on a snowcovered rural road in Alberta is beyond me, my simathies to the Family of the kid, God forbid though it's not the first and won't be the last.

Nor mine. Kids lucky to be alive. Had I seen him at the accident site and he told me he was doing 90 after pulling around a bus and killed my son. Well I would probably be the one going to jail.
