What a bs ruling, this is basically saying that a religious person could call me scum because I do not believe in their religion and I would not be able to fire them.

It's very nice that he holds strong opinions, but criticizing management will get you fired, I don't care who you are. It doesn't allow for a functional work environment or a thousand other things. Unless the company violated the employer-employee contract, this looks out of line.

There has been a few wacko rulings in Britian lately. Like the chiropractor libel case against simon singh.

Isn't it his job to ensure the company is adhering to some sort of environmental plan and report those who don't? If he was a accountant who was making these sort of comments then they would have reason to tell him mind his P's and Q's, but to me he was kind of doing his job (poorly though).
