Most of those broken promises should make the righties happy. The only one mentioned they could have a problem with is the deficit. So complaining while actually supporting the breaking of those promises seems disingenous. This article would have more validity coming from a left slanted publication.

Why does posting facts have more validity if they come from a lefty publication?

Facts are facts. Broken promises are broken promises. It doesn't matter who highlights them.

Not in andyland. Facts are only acceptable from the "proper" publications after being cleared by JT personally.

[sarcasm]A lefty publication would deem the facts as not broken promises, but as an extremely necessary change of direction due to a changing world economy and demographics. This due to the Liberal government having no control over certain outcomes and unforeseen circumstances. Justin Trudeau (peace be upon him) is demonstrating wonderful leadership in what are seen as difficult times.[/sarcasm]

Trudeau is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't when it comes to the Sun organization - they have a terminal case of TDS...interesting how they got almost exactly what they wanted and they still are bitching.

Trudeau's just another politician. Trump is a dangerous lunatic. Most of you current high-ranking military leaders have basically said that they'd, at a minimum, be "uncomfortable" with the nuclear command codes in the hands of such a person. Maybe that'll be when the revolution starts, when Trump wants to nuke Mexico City for saying that they refuse to pay a peso towards the construction of the border wall, and the generals finally stage a coup d'etat to depose him. At this stage a military dictatorship in the US is looking pretty damn good when compared to rule by the nutcases like Trump and the TeaBirchers.

Thanos Thanos:

Trump is a promoter.

What's funny with this guy is that while certain of his politics are apparently 'far right' he more or less emulates the Democratic Party platform of 1996 in almost every way.

http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/?pid=29611

He may seem 'far right' by today's standards but he's a pro-American progressive at the core. It's the pro-American part that people are focused on.

It's also something to note that every time he broaches a 'taboo' topic there's a furor at the outset and then by around six weeks later the entire GOP field is discussing it and the Democrats look stupid for ignoring it.

He's not exploiting a political trend, he IS the trend.

He'd certainly be a different kind of President but I sincerely doubt that he'll be as big a showman in office as he's been on the campaign trail. It's also something to note that for Trump having access to the White House and Air Force One will be a step down in terms of luxury. He won't be guiled or seduced by the trappings of power because he has better at home.

One of the features of the right-wing rant over the last seven years has been how badly Obama allegedly offended key American allies with things like returning the Churchill bust to Britain, because apparently American presidents were obligated to forever worship a British PM so well thought of by his own people that they voted him out of office before World War Two was even over. Or what a betrayer he was because he didn't kiss Israel's ass enough, even though he's plowed more weaponry over the last seven years into Israel's armouries than any single president that's preceded him. Yet now the most popular person in a presidential race is someone who actively wants to make an enemy out of an American ally and important business partner in Mexico and who apparently has no hesitation at all about antagonizing China, regardless of whatever Chinese economic retaliation could result that could devastate the American economy.

We've already had a dope like Scott Walker say that building a wall along the Canadian border would be a super idea and that a thorough moron like Ben Carson wants to make a major military deployment along that same border as well. I realize that at any given time most Americans genuinely don't care what anyone else in the world thinks. At some stage though I would hope (as much as I even want to use that rotten word anymore) that the few enlightened Americans that are aware would say to these kind of politicians to knock it off with the ally-bashing. With what Walker and Carson have already said about Canada I can only imaging what horrific and repugnant thing a cretin like Trump is going to accuse us off and how he'll have no choice but "learn us a real lesson" after he's elected.

Because this. If he had kept those promises, the righties at the Sun, and here would be foaming about that, but since they can't get him for that, it's about how he doesn't keep his promises.

Waffling on supporting our allies while taking selfies and spending tax dollars on nannies. Oh yes. Such wonderful leadership
