No comments about restricting woman from seeing doctors or other such inhuman acts however.
This is propaganda, written specifically to fools and Jack layton.

Check this comment out from the CBC website:
AJ Trudea wrote:
Ahmadi is right.....We knew it right from the start that it was a lose lose situation......Harper in his twisted ways killed 85 good Canadian people....I guess he sees immigration as replacing those good soldiers.

Like the Russians we'll leave the country without accomplishing anything but leaving long lasting hatred for Canadians......
What an ignorant fuck. I guess he forgets' which party sent us into Afghanistan. Typical lefty bullshit, pass the buck.

:-)
With deference to the NDP. I'd like to file a human rights complaint against this person for his use of such sexist language.
The use of the term "spokesman" denotes a built in predilection towards a male holding that position when we know that woman would be just as effective in that role.
I demand that the taliban employ gender based hiring policy and open their organization up to hiring women.

We also aren't the ones who attacked first, for the record now we are there at the Afghan govt's request, and there isn't a single Canadian soldier over there that doesn't know what they were up against. I have 5 friends and 2 family members serving now, and they all believe in what they are doing. Keep fighting.

Hows this for inhumane...

From Christie Blatchford book "15 days"

Its about a CDN journalist who's imbedded with the CDN forces in Afghanistan, in the book she recounts a "moment" when Allied forces organize something called VMO's , what it stands for I don't know but basically its a mechanized hospital with doctors, supplies, medicine and even a veterinarian. They basically go from village to village and help.

On one occasion she recounts despite the pleading from allied forces to be able to treat the women in the village, village elders refused. So about 150 women were not allowed to see a doctor if they needed to. While the men, children and donkeys got the care they needed.

Do you mean to say that Chretien wasn't represening the will of Canadians whenn he put us in this war? Was paul martin wrong to authorize Canadian troops to move to the more dangerous Kanduhar region?

Isn't that what Liberals wanted?

No, I'm pretty sure she meant that the bleatings of a wingnut radical do not necessarily reflect the whole of thinking of teh entire side of a political spectrum.

Sorry, I thought that was obvious.

I've heard tell of a similar situation where some women needed critical care for injuries sustained in an IED attack and a group of men demanded that the women be left to die instead of receiving treatment from male medics. In that situation the men were told to f*ck off and when they got nasty about it several of them were shot. An action I fully approved of.
