Nowhere does it say anything about a peacekeeping mission to ISIS or Al Qaeda.

It was mentioned earlier in the press about deployment to Sinai, which is ridden with ISIS-sympathetic groups.

Canadian peacekeepers have been in Sinai fo several decades already.
Given that their official tweets are about topics such as their recent charity spin-a-thon, I don’t think the Sinai force is being overrun by ISIS very often.
