Before surgery my bp was 120/79, and my glucose was 5.0... I'm 395lbs. The nurse was a bit shocked.

That is a bit shocking. The human body can only do so much, and that much body is normally really hard on the heart. When I was that heavy, my BP was 145/98 and my glucose was in the teens and my cholesterol was shocking. Then I had a mild stroke.

Lost 100 pounds since then, 130/78, and A1C of 7.4 and cholesterol is below normal. [B-o]

Colder than usual and wetter than usual for November/December down here in California.
That's a good thing though, because California can use the moisture and cool weather instead of hot and dry that is so often the case.
Some win. Some lose.

What happens after massive forest fires leave lots of ash mixed in with lots of water?

It just replenishes some of the lost nutrients in the soil. Fire is a big part of the renewal process.

Forest fires? Do you have any idea how much weed is lost in California every year?

I bet the firefighters are just giggling the whole time.
