But, when he does, what he says is infallible. Watched some priest on the news saying that the Pope can make something like this happen but that isn't his way.

So until he stops trying to convince his followers that this is the right thing to do and tells them, it's my way or the highway like his predecessors, none of his reforms will ever come to fruition.

seems as soon as you get two or more people together claiming to have the same religion, you get this shit. Either they gang up to go after some infidel, or, better yet, they go after each other for being worse than the ignorant infidel, because they should know better. This is why religion should be a personal thing. Be your own farking pope. Although I have to admit sometimes there are even schisms within my religion of one: "There is no personal God." Nobody Catholics included believe the Pope is infallible, especially considering his alleged infallibility only pertains to directing matters of Catholic religious doctrine.
