Any time time a read of somthing like this I have to say thank God I live in the west. We may may have not the best and brightest as poltical leaders from time to time, but we don't have Tyrants like these either.

The sad part is his people would kill to get the table scraps.
Africa is such a lost cause.

Mugabe is a sick and twisted SOB. He should have been taken out years ago. It is to the great and eternal shame of the other African nations that could have acted but didn't, that he remains able to poison and destroy everything he touches... not the least of which are the lives of his own citizens.

Who knows how long that will take. The fucker's 84 and showing no signs of not being a giant douche-nozzle.

And Africa is not a lost cause. Before Mugabe came to power, Zimbabwe was one of the most productve agricultural centers in Africa able to provide for itself and export grain to other countries as well.

Yes. All the more tragic that this has been allowed to happen. What does it say about us in the West that we just sit back and allow these tragedies to unfold, while claiming, "well, we can't do anything"? Bullshit. We can and should do something.

Well if "doing something" means sending money I think I'll throw my chips in with Riden. Other than sanctioning state assassination I'm not really sure what else can be done. Besides, if knock you Mugabe off some other pin will just take his place.

As terrible as it sounds I personally think we should take a look at cutting off all aid, maybe his people will finally get sick of his shit and kill him themselves.

I think cutting off aid and forcing them to accept their own reality would be the best thing we can do for them.

Well, Nigeria has benefited with Zimbabwe's white farmers. They gave them free land, and all the equipment they wanted to rebuild their lives and teach the locals a thing or two about modern agribusiness. Now Nigeria is producing so much Cassava that it will be used for the production of Ethanol and exported to Europe to generate revenue. Coffers are happy, white farmers are happy, Nigerians employed locally are happy, Mugabe is happy and Tsvangirai has a new job. Everyone wins.....

...now, about those suffering, starving, impoverished Zimbabweans...

Probably, but too many bleeding hearts around for that to actually happen.

I wonder why the revolution isn't in full swing already.

Maybe the aid.
Maybe Mugabe's secret police.
Maybe they have killed most opponents already.

Maybe all of the above.

I know Tvsangeri is going to really hate sharing power with this guy.
Wont do his aspirations any good either.

the best thing that could happen is a sniper blows Mugabe's head off from a mile away...
