The thing about karma is that it works both ways. If you wouldn't want yourself to be locked up and molested, don't wish it on others.

The issue here, is that a mom is not caring well for her kid, and molests it in such a way, the kid is scarred for life. Now what is so hard to understand, that if someone does that, she, or he, should be punished for that? The only way someone can be punished, is by throwing him/her in jail. When the sentence is over, and he/she did her time, it is time to get him/her treatment, in a mental facility.

So WHO is looking for excuses here? You, with your PC-bullshit, are saying the poor molested kid is harmed, well, good luck the rest of her life, and mom should not be held responsable.

It seems to me that the mother needs as much help as the child is going to need. A plea of insanity would make more sense that a prison sentence.
The guy who molested the kid is probably the only one who should actually serve jail time.

So the mother should get a "get of jail free" card why? Especially considering she beat the child, I hope she gets no help, I hope she lives penniless on the streets of some big city being pimped for five dollar blow jobs.
