And soon the fleet cancelations will roll in,more layoffs, steel mills will cut back because of no need for it and the mines in BC will cut back because the mills dont need the coal, same with China, they just didnt send the boats.

It's going to get worse.Big companies will start trimming the fat very soon.

maybe the dying art of homemade preserves will make a comeback if people start tightening their belts. Jeez I miss the crabapple, cranberry and chokecherry jellies my Grandma used to make.....She found the time to do stuff like this and she worked full time as a chief surgical nurse. My paternal Grandma, was a principal and did the same with 5 kids, although she wasn't as good a cook as my mom's mother. People who grew up during the Depression and WW2 seemed to do more with less.

Notice all the papers here want your trade, even if you still owe on it,they want vehicles.

That said,my B.I.L. owns a car carrier and thats what he does, buy cars at auctions and resell them elsewhere and he takes a percentage.Bussiness is so good he's thinking of buying another truck to put on.

All of a sudden that $20,000 one year old lease back is a better deal then that $40,000 brand new truck.
