How can you be so cruel?

I could be having the worst day of my life and you're dumping on me.

If you need to ask why we treat you the way we do then you've answered your own question. You're a "foiler" which is synonymous with idiot! Until you lose your foiler status you will remain an idiot!

No offence, but surely you cannot be surprised that your arrogantly stubborn refusal to do anything else on these forums save doggedly pursuing a personal agenda with the intentional aspersions to all and sundry who disagree with you invites more personal observations of your character.

Well, with Dr. Smith, an incompetent pathologist destroyed the lives of many women and Mr. Mullins and families by ensuring wrongful conviction for murder.

Legal fees are expensive. I expect a fee of $300,000 from my lawyer on a completely different matter, unrelated to wrongful conviction. So, I find it understandable that genuinely wrongfully convicted persons cannot necessarily afford the cost of appeals or legal action to overturn a wrongful conviction.

Therefore I do see the need for such a commission to ensure equality and justice for all.

So, Yogi, that must mean that you like the idea of wrongfully convicted people staying in jail, because they cannot afford the legal fees to appeal.

I can't say that I understand that attitude or point-of-view.

"Phillion, 69, confessed in 1972 to killing Leopold Roy, an Ottawa firefighter who was fatally stabbed in an apartment stairwell by an intruder in August of 1967.

Aren't we done here?

Ever heard of a false confession?

Ah, what shit? Do you happen to have $300,000 to launch an appeal, if it were necessary?

Don't get hung up on one case! All of Dr. Smith's cases were wrongly convicted due to bungling according to the papers and incompetence.

If you were wrongly convicted of murder, do you have $300,000 available to launch an appeal? If you don't you would probably rot in jail.

Would you wish that on anyone?

I have.

Phillion was not coerced into his confession - he stated he did it for bragging right to impress his girlfriend.

I'm not feeling much sympathy for his missed years.

Yeah, doesn't sound like he was coerced then.
